Open Position: Software Engineer (Data & AI) - SoftBit San
Francisco, CA Remote Location: RemotePosition Type:
Full-timeResponsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize data
processing algorithms and AI models that enable intelligent
decision-making and predictive capabilities.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
integrate, clean, and transform diverse data sources into usable
formats for analysis and model training.
- Model Training: Develop and train machine learning and deep
learning models using a variety of techniques, libraries, and
frameworks to extract meaningful insights from data.
- Feature Engineering: Identify relevant features and attributes
from complex datasets to enhance the performance of AI models.
- Data Visualization: Create informative visualizations and
dashboards that effectively communicate data-driven insights to
both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously improve the efficiency
and accuracy of algorithms and models to enhance overall system
performance.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and iterate on new data and AI
concepts, turning them into production-ready solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineering, product,
and research teams to integrate AI solutions into larger software
systems and applications.
- Research and Innovation: Stay current with the latest
advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and
contribute innovative ideas to enhance the company's
offerings.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for code,
algorithms, and models to facilitate knowledge sharing and future
development. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data
Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, focusing on data
processing, AI, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or
C++.
- Hands-on experience with popular AI and data science libraries
and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,
pandas).
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms,
and statistical methods.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and
model evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and
their AI services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex
technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to
collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality,
reliable code.
- Prior experience with deploying AI models in production
