About the TeamThe Performance Resiliency and Scalability team at Workday engages across organizations to ensure Workday application is performant and meets customer expectations. We study new service and customer scenarios to ensure smooth adoption. We engage in production performance issues to drive quick resolutions for our customers.About the Role We collaborate with development engineers and product managers to analyze functional requirements, improve architecture designs that provide real scalability, low latency, and high availability. We proactively identify and diagnose issues, recognize root cause and engage appropriate teams to find a solution. We craft automation to ensure the scalability of new product offerings. About YouBasic Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with load simulation tools like Gatling, JMeter, Loadrunner etc
• Experience with log search tools like ELK, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, etc
• Experience with APM and profiling tools like JProfiler, New Relic, AppDynamic, YourKit, VisualVM etc
• Experience with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, Shell, Java, Javascript etcOther Qualifications
  • Experience in deep performance analysis
  • Good understanding of fault tolerance, and multi-tenancy
  • Experience designing and developing scripts to surface regression performance issues
  • Hands on experience in sophisticated tool development to analyze performance issues
  • Passion for software development and customer satisfaction
