We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your accounting skills in the exciting world of commercial real estate. Our Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in our organization, supporting our financial operations and contributing to our growth and success. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Overseeing and managing all general ledger accounting including but not limited to the preparation and review of financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures. Liaising with external auditors during financial and operational audits. Providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management. Participating in special projects and implementing financial systems and process improvements. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial practices. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role should have the following qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial real estate industry. Proven experience in reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and producing income statements. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management.
