Job Description Job Description Description: Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to take full ownership of the accounting function for our two locations. This role is strictly accounting-focused and requires hands-on expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections . The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and be ready to manage the full accounting cycle with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities: Oversee AR and AP functions , ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage billing cycles, invoicing, collections, payroll, and general ledger functions. Prepare and review financial reports to support management decision-making. Ensure accuracy in all accounting processes and compliance with standards. Collaborate with leadership on reporting and financial insights. Qualifications: 5 years of progressive experience in accounting . Strong expertise in AR, AP, billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections . Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities. Proficiency with accounting software ( QuickBooks or similar ) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Preferred: Experience in the service industry . Knowledge of job costing and contract billing . Sage or NetSuite Requirements:
