Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and
industrial services, is seeking a qualified Class A/B Driver /
Equipment Operator with manual transmission experience. This
position is crucial for safely operating vehicles and equipment
during hazardous waste disposal and emergency response projects.
The role requires adherence to stringent safety standards to
protect the environment and ensure efficient industrial cleaning
services. Ideal candidates are committed to sustainability, safety,
and have a strong sense of duty towards environmental protection.
Operate Class A or B vehicles with manual transmission. Load and
unload equipment and waste materials safely and in compliance with
government regulations and company policies. Conduct routine
vehicle and equipment maintenance checks. Respond to emergency
spill situations efficiently. Record and maintain required
documentation such as logs, vehicle reports, and compliance papers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all operations comply with
safety standards. Proficient in operating heavy-duty manual
transmission vehicles. Knowledge of hazardous materials handling
and disposal. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to
unpredictable situations. Excellent communication and teamwork
abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
with Hazardous Materials Endorsement. DOT Medical Certification
OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred but not required).
