An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work within a K-12 educational setting in Napa, CA. This contract position offers the chance to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with severe needs in a general education classroom, ensuring meaningful progress and enhanced student engagement. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalized behavioral interventions and supports to a student with complex needs. Collaborate closely with school staff to implement and monitor behavior plans effectively. Maintain detailed daily reports documenting student progress and behavioral observations. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Certification as a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred. Experience working with students requiring intensive behavioral support in educational settings. Strong communication and documentation skills for daily reporting. Ability to collaborate with educators and support staff within a general education classroom. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the student's educational experience. Location: Onsite position located in Napa, California in a K-12 school environment. Schedule and Duration: Contract role aligned with the current school year schedule (CSY). Position requires approximately 35 hours per week. Immediate start date available.
