Job Description:
About the Role: The position will assist the Estimating team
with providing accurate and competitive cost estimates on several
small and medium electrical projects. Company Overview Since 1990,

Analyze and interpret construction drawings, specifications and
other bid documents Perform accurate electrical take-offs for a
diverse range of electrical construction projects Understand Scope
of Work to bid as well as resolve discrepancies by collecting and
analyzing information. Establish and maintain working relationships
with vendors and subcontractors Manage bid pricing from vendors
Prepare pre-bid RFI’s and track and document responses Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Use
computer software to calculate estimates Work as a team member as
well as independently Attend job walks with the GC or the client
Provide bid review details to the Director of Preconstruction,
prior to sending to client About You: Qualifications Familiarity
with Accubid, Livecount, and Bluebeam preferred A Bachelor’s degree
in construction, engineering, or business-related field is
preferred from an accredited college or university. * * An
equivalent combination of electrical construction field experience
and relevant work experience may be substituted.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Familiarity with Accubid, Livecount, and
Bluebeam preferred Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word
primarily) Industry knowledge Excellent communication skills, both
written and verbal Ability to work in a team environment and accept
periodic peer-to-peer bid reviews Ability to assess time of
completion and required resources needed to meet a deadline Ability
to read and understand drawings for all trades Architectural,
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings Ability to take
ownership and accountability Positive attitude and customer focus
Strong organization skills Proactive attitude, showing initiative
and the ability to work independently Dependability and punctuality
for all CSI activities Ability to provide complete estimates with
less than complete documents/information Physical Demands
Frequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces. May be required to
sit or stand for long periods of time. May be required to stoop,
bend, and crouch. Work Environment Works in a climate controlled
environment 50% of the time May work in varying weather conditions:
hot, cold, and wet conditions Frequently works in areas with large
industrial equipment subject to high noise levels May occasionally
work in areas with hazardous chemicals What We Offer: Compensation
& Benefits Hourly rate $36.00-$65.00/ hour (Non-exempt)
Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are
made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges
depending on the selected candidate's qualifications. Amazing
