Kforce has a client in need of a Network Engineer II in Pleasanton, CA.Duties Include:

• 
  
• 
  Network Engineer will be responsible for the configuration and support of Retail and backstage network
  
  
• 
  Responsible to Manage and support projects related to Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba, and Cisco products
  
  
• 
  Responsible for troubleshooting to ascertain root cause of issues
  
  
• 
  Perform network system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  
  
• 
  As a Network Engineer, you will map network layouts and configure network devices for user environments
  
  
• 
  Taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects and related tasks with minimal to no supervision and completing them independently with minimal technical and management guidance
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving on-prem and cloud networks
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience in Meraki SDWAN stack including WAN, Switching and Wireless
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience in Juniper/MIST Wireless stack including WAN, Switching and Wireless
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience with network operating systems, including Juniper, Cisco IOS and NxOS
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) year of experience with LAN/WAN architecture and implementation for large enterprise networks (10,000 plus devices)
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience creating and delivering detailed technical presentations of network solutions to Senior/Executive level Management
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 advanced protocols
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience with Palo Alto/Fortinet Firewall Design, Engineering and L4 troubleshooting
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience with BGP, OSPF, VSS, VPC, VNET protocols
  
  
• 
  Minimum five (5) years of experience with SD-WAN Design and implementation
  
  
  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
