You will get to drive design and manufacturing improvements by leveraging your quality engineering expertise. Responsibilities

  • Define incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection criteria for QC team.
  • Improve product quality through issue tracking, analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis on complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
  • Work with strategic partners and suppliers to develop quality processes and outgoing supplier quality programs.
  • Lead supplier audits to drive process improvements and compliance to QMS/EHS and EMS. Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of required experience with NPI, Process Engineering, Calibration, Incoming/Final Inspection, Supplier Quality, and APQP/PPAP.
    • 5+ years' experience in R&D quality assurance of complex electromechanical systems.
    • 5+ years of demonstrable knowledge of 8D, risk assessments, design and process FMEA.
    • 5+ years of experience analytical and technical writing ability, and comprehensive understanding of quality toolbox (ISO9001, SPC, DOE, GD&T, etc.). The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $122,000 a year, if the work location is in California. However, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program.
