Job Description: Business Development Manager (Lead) Remote position until covid-19 restrictions are lifted. Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing leads and business opportunities for Blume Global. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, a successful business development manager will be the bridge between the campaign team and the sales team by progressing warm and cold leads into sales opportunities. This position will be responsible for growing and developing the sales pipeline and market approach for Blume Global s solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Assume ownership of the lead process from identification, to initial qualification, to sales introduction Develop high standards of lead process flow, data integrity and feedback to marketing Create a positive first impression with our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience Complete initial qualification of potential sales opportunities for approval and assignment to a Sales Director by sales leadership Maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence in following up on all inquiries and marketing leads Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts Partner with Sales and Marketing on event recruitment strategies Assist with researching trends and identifying new prospects Actively participate in and contribute to team learning opportunities and your own personal development Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e., adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling) Assist in partner co-marketing and complementary initiatives Build and manage a business development team (local, international and outsourced) Key Performance Indicators include: conversion ratios between lead stages, net new contacts, number of prospect qualifications, and pipeline growth Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is required or equivalent 3-5 years of sales or business development experience Management experience in hiring and leading international and/or outsourced business development Supply chain, logistics or transportation industry or B2B enterprise technology industry experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment High ethical and moral standards Strong desire to be in technology sales/business development Excellent written/verbal communication skills Time Management - Ability to prioritize and execute to plan Strong problem-solving skills & willingness to learn complex solutions High energy and positive attitude Ability to take initiative Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude English proficiency Preferred Qualifications: Master s degree in business or a related field a plus Corporate tele-sales experience, field sales, software sales is a plus CRM Experience (Salesforce a plus) Leadership experience in building a high performing business development team (internal and external) Working knowledge of how to use key business applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo etc.) Apply Online Below
