Across the US, Canada and Ireland, our team is responsible for the
UI Platform technology used across the full suite of Workday
products. Our platform is mission critical, scaling to support some
of the worlds' largest companies running their businesses on
Workday. About the Role About the Role: We are now looking for a
Manager of Product Management in UI Platform. This role will lead a
team of US and Canada based Product Managers, as part of a global
PM organization for UI Platform. Product Managers at Workday are
involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle. They design great
new functionality for internal and external customers, evangelize
the enhancements to stakeholders, all while sweating out the
details to deliver a superior end product. Managers of Product
Managers exemplify best practices in these areas, drawing on their
own experience to support their team to be brilliant at what they
do: Influences the product roadmap and sets the long-term strategy
for multiple product areas. Leads through influence and applies
strategic understanding of the company's big picture Collaborate
with internal and external stakeholders to understand their
requirements Often starts with a blank sheet of paper and has a
deep understanding of product usage and adoption. Write detailed
feature specifications based on requirements Handle implementation
of new capabilities by coordinating with internal Product teams
impacted by those capabilities. Communicate new capabilities to
stakeholders clearly Work with the development organization through
design, testing and product release Drive efficiency and
productivity for the scrum teams using processes and Atlassian
tools. Define a product roadmap and determine requirements for each
release Participate in customer-facing situations and user
conferences as a product expert Demonstrate flexibility and the
ability to adapt to change. Drive cross team initiatives and
influence other teams on directions and decision making. About You
Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience 5+
years carrying out scrum and other agile development methods 2+
years of experience with SaaS 2+ years of people management
experience Other Qualifications: Strong individual initiative &
ownership - driven by results, and motivated by impact At heart, is
a "product person" - dedication and drive to understand customer
needs, and build great products & solutions to meet those needs
Steadfast focus on user-centric design, data, research, and
well-honed judgment to ensure you're passionate about making the
biggest difference to our users Proven track record to operate
successfully across multiple functions, influence senior executives
and peers alike, and mediate across various stakeholders
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written
and verbal Experience with workflow and/or automation As a federal
