Workday is looking for an experienced Manager, Performance and
Innovation to lead a team responsible for developing the vision,
strategy and objectives of the Global Procurement Office. This
strategy will be mapped with best-in-class and translated into an
achievable roadmap for people, process and technology. They will
introduce disruptive ideas that help achieve desired business
outcomes. Blending skills in analytics, planning and consulting,
this role will serve as a trusted advisor to procurement leaders to
inform strategic planning decisions. This will be a highly
collaborative role, working across the entire organization and
especially with the Project Management and Training & Development
teams on plan execution. They will also be responsible for policy
and procedure governance and will have a thorough understanding of
the Source-to-Pay processes and dependencies. This role sits within
the Global Procurement Office (GPO) and would report into the
Senior Director, Procurement Center of Excellence. About You Basic
Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience with growing
levels of responsibility and proven track record of leading
transformational change. 3+ years experience in people leadership.
2+ years of experience in management consulting or corporate
strategy/strategy & business operations. Bachelor's Degree in
Supply Chain, Business or equivalent degree required. Master's
degree preferred. Other Qualifications Deep understanding of the
Source-to-Pay process. Experience working in a Procurement
organization strongly preferred. Experienced problem-solver able to
both delve into the details and operational tactics and engage
meaningfully on the big picture or overall strategy. Strong
presence and interpersonal skills to interact and influence teams,
executives, colleagues, and cross-functional teams. Ability to
identify dependencies between complex processes/programs/projects
and determine impact. Creative problem solver with a bias for
action, understanding the value of structure while balancing the
need for agility and innovation within that framework. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
distill complex thoughts into simple, actionable recommendations;
strong presence in front of senior executives. Proactive, result
oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deliverables.
