the Role Under the direction of the North America Field Alliances
leader, the Senior Manager - Alliances will focus on helping the
North American Sales teams work more effectively with our partner
community in our Medium Enterprise (ME) segment. Demonstrating
their experience to stimulate market awareness and curiosity about
Workday. They will have operational responsibility for our largest
market segment ( by volume). Acting as a part of the Sales and
Services leadership team, they will champion relationships across
priority partners operating within the area. They will bring to
bear the vast ecosystem of market-facing resources within our
partners community on Workday's behalf. A successful Senior Manager
will embed himself/herself into the regional sales teams to
represent both the partner and Workday's interests when it comes to
pipeline building, deal execution & program execution. The Senior
Manager will craft the landscape for partners within the ME space,
feeding partnerships across the entire customer lifecycle. This
resource will align with appropriate collaborators and execution on
the plan toward our collective goals. The Alliance manager sets the
strategy for the ecosystem, crafting appropriate rules of
engagement and uncovering critical partnerships needed to win in
this space. The Senior Manager will primarily be the key contact
between Workday and our Partners, They will ensure that Partners
are developing appropriate in market activities and awareness in
support of the regional sales organization's goals. In addition,
the Sr Manager will provide the services partners the information
and content needed to generate interest, demand and net new
opportunities for Workday products and associated partner services.
Key elements of the role: Build & drive strategic in market plans
with Workday's ecosystem of deployment partners, specific to our
net new ME segment. Set the vision for the partner ecosystem for
the ME space (recruiting through onboarding) Establish and
implement a revenue generating program leveraging Influence and
Sourcing with select partners Run dedicated set of Advisory
partners. Report partners business results, making recommendations
for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners
Enable partner organizations to engage successfully with Workday
prospects by driving partner education, training, sales enablement,
& joint marketing programs. Support analysis of sales performance &
pipeline developing partner-specific insights & recommendations for
initiatives to improve overall performance Actively supervise joint
sales pipeline & meet or exceed quarterly & annual partner metrics.
Lead alliances activity & success in Salesforce.com Actively
supervise joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and
annual revenue targets The Senior Manager - programs is a high
energy, dedicated, organized and creative professional who is
passionate about developing and executing impactful infrastructure
and operations that drive partner engagement and support the "Power
of One" partnering philosophy at Workday. The individual in this
role should be comfortable in a high growth technology organization
and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
with multiple priorities. About You Basic Qualifications 7+ years
experience in Alliances, Partner Strategy and Management, Business
Development 5 + years experience working with Global System
Integrators or other large System Integrators Exceptional verbal
and written communication skills Bachelor's degree Other
Qualifications: Proven track record of success, demonstrated
ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Impeccable
organizational & Program management skills Human Resources and/or
Financial Management ERP domain expertise a plus. Ability to
envision the future for our partners within their area of influence
and share that vision broadly Ability to work effectively both
individually and as part of a team and across multiple departments
and groups. Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety
of areas and create clear communications Team player with the
ability to work independently Experience with ERP and HR
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com MBA a plus
Location : Workday office location Moderate Travel (50% +) As a
