Job Description:

Title: Security Risk Manager Location: Pleasanton, CA Type: Contract Our client is looking for an experienced security risk management professional to join its Risk Oversight team. The candidate will be part of a team that has an extensive coordination role across various business units and stakeholders to identify, assess and manage information security risks. Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative security risk assessments.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to complete risk assessments and drive remediation efforts. Build relationships and coordinate with other teams and departments involved in security risk management.
• Provide Risk Advisory support to Workday's Business units.
• Support in creation of risk reports/dashboards for Executives. Prepare reports and presentations for risk assessments.
• Provide input into the Workday's Risk Management Strategy
• Maintain program documentation including process documents and standards.
• Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRI) Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Has experience in conducting data driven security risk assessments using FAIR methodology
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (E.g.,Tableau, MS Power BI etc.)
  • Knowledge of a cloud-services environment
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security or a security related engineering role in a technical environment and experience driving security risk management activities
  • Experience with designing GRC processes including requirements gathering, process reviews and development, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800 series, CIS top 20 controls
  • Strong technical skills but equally comfortable interacting with senior business leaders.
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms and related security topics.
  • CRISC, CISSP, SANS GSEC or equivalent certifications
