data-driven decisions and ultimately contribute to Workday's

reporting and analysis to key leaders and functions across the

Workday!About the RoleAs a Senior / Principal Business Intelligence
Program Manager, you will act as both a "Product Manager" and
"Project Manager" for Enterprise Data & Analytics Business
Intelligence projects. This includes deeply understanding the
business goals and user needs; defining reporting functionality to
meet those needs; managing the project scope and schedule;
communicating with stakeholders; and partnering closely with
Enablement teams to support communication, training, and
adoption.Responsibilities
- Successfully plan, organize and lead all phases of Enterprise
Data & Analytics BI projects
- Deeply understand business goals and user needs. Interview
users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to get insights on
what business problems we are trying to solve, key questions to be
answered by the BI solution, and how the solution will fit into the
business process to be supported
- Define requirements and functionality to meet those needs.
Write Agile stories to capture the user needs. Partner with
Business Intelligence Analyst to brainstorm and provide feedback on
design to achieve easy-to-understand visualizations
- Solicit user feedback and consolidate and prioritize to BI
Analyst
- Manage project scope and schedule using Agile sprint method to
ensure projects are completed on time
- Communicate with stakeholders proactively throughout the
project to gather inputs, keep them updated, and coordinate with
other teams
- Partner closely with Enablement teams to provide inputs to and
support communication, training, and adoption of new/updated BI
solutions
- Anticipate areas of risk and determine ways to mitigate and
resolve them
- Act as a trusted advisor when questions arise regarding BI
solutions and metricsAbout YouBasic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 8+ years professional experience
- 3+ years experience supporting programs with a heavy emphasis
on data or analytics (either full-time or as a significant part of
your role)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to lead structured meetings and drive toward outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building strong
relationships across multiple functional teams
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsOther
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of corporate metrics, particularly in a
SaaS or enterprise software B-to-B model is highly desired.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and BI tools preferred
- Experience with Agile methodology preferred
- PMP or other Project Management certification preferred
- A keen understanding of user experience design is a strong
