PulteGroup!JOB SUMMARY:The Market Intelligence Director is a highly
motivated, curious, multi-tasking, and analytical-oriented
individual. This role will manage the collection and synthesis of
all economic, demographic, housing, and consumer data to provide
strategic and analytical support to the Division. - This role
extensively researches, collects, and analyzes market information
through qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research methods
to inform and support business strategy, acquisition, and
sales/marketing.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMarket Intelligence
Support
- Manage and coordinate all market research activities
- Report generation with clearly communicated supporting
analysis, exhibits, and data
- Produce Monthly Market Monitors and Competitive Pricing Charts
for presentation and distribution
- Track and monitor geographic market performance, supply,
demand, and leading indicators of new home and resale market
changes
- Manage the annual Division Strategic Planning process including
a deep understanding and utilization of the Market Intelligence
tools to answer business questionsSales/Marketing Support
- Monitor the competitive performance and environment of active
Division communities
- Support Grand Opening pricing analysis and
recommendationsAcquisition Support
- Support the completion of pricing, demand, and supply analysis
for acquisition underwriting
- Writing acquisition reports and memosPerform other duties, as
requestedMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Level: Mentor / Coach /

- Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs.
- Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build
organizational talent.
- Delegates work according to employees' abilities and
skills.
- Evaluates employee performance and plan for compensation
actions in accordance with that performance.
- Provides developmental opportunities through the identification
of internal and external training opportunities.
- Develops proper department organization balancing team members'
capabilities while creating opportunities for employee growth.
- Provides continuous coaching regarding functional and

- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business or EquivalentREQUIRED
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of market intelligence experience required.
- Advanced Excel knowledge with advanced formulas and
formatting.
- Extensive research and information-finding ability with the
resourcefulness to investigate both known and untapped
sources.
- Proactive with the ability to multi-task and takes personal
ownership of assignments and due dates.
- Ability to collect and logically analyze data to answer
business questions and effectively communicate results.
- Possess a demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy by
verifying work while balancing multiple tasks or processes.
- Takes initiative and can proactively complete duties on time
with limited supervision.
- Exhibits a positive and passionate demeanor for their work and
assists others.
- Strong curiosity to problem solve, improve processes, and
answer business questions with data and research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
