is in the process of implementing our multi-year ecommerce
strategy. The Senior Channel Sales Manager- Ecommerce will oversee
the creation and ongoing management of an Authorized Online
Reseller program. You will be responsible for sales growth and
customer relationships in the ecommerce channel. You will be a key
member of the ebusiness team and act as the primary SME for sales.
You will work cross-functionally to support ebusiness initiatives
and the roadmap. The successful candidate will roll-up their
sleeves and perform multiple roles to ensure success and ecommerce
growth. This position reports to the Director of Ebusiness and is a

YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)Authorized Online Reseller Program
Management (40%)
- Lead the company's Authorized Online Reseller program as the
primary SME
- Identify, recruit and onboard new channel partners into the
program
- Ensure partner compliance with program agreements
- Manage potential channel conflict by fostering excellent
communication internally and externally, and through adherence to
the programs rules.
- Create and manage up-to-date reporting and analysis as per the
program
- Conduct business reviews with partners as per the program and
recommend improvements
- Develop program playbook with cross-functional input for use
within the greater sales organization.
- Gain and maintain a deep understanding of channel dynamics,
growth levers, and market changes.
- Provide leadership with recommendations on how to improve
online channel sales with authorized resellersSales Growth (30%)
- Responsible for working with existing and potential new
customers to explore online sales opportunities.
- Responsible for achieving sales revenue, profit and strategic
goals with ecommerce customers.
- Identify, review, and qualify new ecommerce leads for sales
organization
- Identify and execute on cross-selling and up-selling
opportunities among channel partners
- Work with business segments, operations and adjacent sales
teams to support online sales operations
- Develops growth plans for product line expansion and launch
across online customers
- Accurately forecast sales revenue with channel partnersCustomer
Relationship & Retention (15%)
- Understand and become the expert on operational requirements to
help improve efficiencies and grow overall ebusiness within the
channel.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at channel
partners
- Proactively monitors, assesses, identify customer needs on an
ongoing basis while acting as the primary customer advocate
- Interface with channel partners to coordinate product
information and promotions
- Coordinates the involvement of other SST groups, including
customer service, sales, IT, and engineering resources, in order to
meet customers' needs and resolve issues.
- Work with channel partners to identify branding improvements
and increase opportunities online for SSTEbusiness Support &
Promotion (15%)
- Assist in the development of new functionality for Customer
Portal to ensure sales requirements are met
- Coordinate and align branch needs for ebusiness decision
making
- Work with marketing and ebusiness team to drive outstanding
brand representation and engagement with channel partners.
- Supports internal business and technology improvement
projects
- Plan and execute customer training events for ebusiness
- Work with marketing and training teams to create program
materials
- Champion and educate ebusiness opportunities and successes
across the companyDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do
everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of
the following would be helpful too:
- 7+ years experience in sales roles
- 3+ years Simpson Strong-Tie sales experience preferred
- 1 year experience working across multiple Simpson Strong-Tie
branches preferred
- Management
- People and project management skills, ability to structure work
and lead a diverse team of both internal, external and peer
resources to deliver meaningful results within defined time
frames.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage
tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with all
partners
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - from
product specifications, to JIRA tickets, to stakeholder
presentations
- Equal enthusiasm for with high-level strategic planning, but
also tactical daily execution
- Balance user and business needs while remaining flexible in a
fast-changing environment
- Leadership
- Experience managing internal and external business partner
needs.
- Supports and maintains a positive working relationship with
peers, associates, team members and management.

domestic travel up to 25% of the time.Work Status & LocationThis
full-time, exempt position is a remote position, although
relocation may be offered for the person who would prefer to work
from our Pleasanton, CA home office. Posted pay range starts with
national average and may vary depending on geographical work
location.RelocationRelocation may be available for this
position.Pay$86400 - $150000 / AnnuallyREWARDS AT SIMPSON
