Events Technology Manager
About the TeamThe Event Technology Manager (contract role) is a
team member of the Marketing Events workgroup within the Experience
Marketing team. This workgroup is responsible for a portfolio of
external, high-profile event programs attended by our customers,
prospective customers, sponsoring partners, analysts, and
employees. The purpose of these events is to increase brand
awareness, develop and advance the company's sales pipeline, and
educate and empower attendees.
About the RoleThe Event Technology Manager will report into the
Head of Event Tools and be primarily responsible for the
implementation and execution of registration and event technology
tools required of hybrid and digital events.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of registration build, attendee management,
reporting and customer service pre-event, onsite and
post-event
- Define clear R&R's for vendor supporting roles and ensure
operational excellence for delivery and timeline management
- Closely align with internal team event leads, sales/pre-sales,
field marketing etc. for overall requirements of registration
build, email communications, implementation of discount codes,
tracking and reporting needs
- Ensure security, privacy & legal reviews and mandates are
current and the program is supported from a business standpoint for
deliverables- i.e. policies don't impede success.
- Partner with Marketing technology team on any digital
integrations/programming plans and new tool sourcing
- Lead with Registration, CFP, SRC & ERC systems. Work with
Content team on session catalog configuration
- Work closely with digital event tools team on the delivery of
digital experience
- Supporting role within the digital/registration workstream for
the Rising North America and EMEA conferences
- Adhere to our standards established by the team
- Manage vendor relationships required to support programs

Requirements: Basic Qualifications
- Registration and event system tools management of large-scale
events. This would include deep understanding and experience with
ERC, SRC, Content Catalog and Housing tools.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally across internal teams
involved with events. Examples being: Field Marketing, Sales,
Legal, Privacy, QA, Partner Teams, Services, Marketing Automation,
Data & Analytics etc.
- Establish effective processes, meetings and milestones and
regularly communicate deadlines and interdependencies. Other
Qualifications
- 6+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Ideally experience with Rainfocus
- Experience working with programs that support sales and drive
pipeline.
- Strong proficiency in gaining alignment and communicating with
key inter-departmental collaborators.
- Demonstrate an ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and
exercise independent and good judgment.
- Proficient using Google Suite, MS Office Applications, Slack
and other enterprise applications.
Compensation:
- $36.77/hour - $49.03/hour
