Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager II, Planning reporting to the Senior Director of Global Manufacturing, NPI, and Distribution Planning. The Senior Manager II, Planning will lead the day-to-day activity of the Planning team and will partner with company stakeholders to create clear, cogent, scalable, automated, and fast demand sensing and supply plans and to ensure those plans are fully integrated and adhered to through the entire customer fulfillment workstream. These will include the:

• Sales & Operations Plan
• Regional Supply/Demand Plans
• Factory Build Plans
• Purchase Plan / Cash Flow Plan
• Finished Good Inventory Plan
• NPI Plan and new product release process
• Product Transfer Plan with Manufacturing between Plants What you will be doing:
  
  The Senior Manager II, Planning will also direct the Planning Process including:
  • Setting up a Supply-Demand Control Tower to sense and respond to demand
  • Developing and executing the Pleasanton Supply Planning Strategy
  • Developing Planning and Execution Process automation including dashboards, metrics, reports, and coordinated customer communication
  • Executing Overall Inventory Planning Policy, Tools, Process, Rules including:
    • Regional DC Pull Transfer Orders
    • Safety Stock Plans and Management
    • Expiry forecasting and discounting
    • Capacity Planning with factory, supply, and distribution chain
    • Process Improvement Projects
    • Demand Forecast Improvement
    • Planning Process Maps
      • Goals:
        • Improve On-Time Delivery to customers driving to Perfect Order customer experience
        • Decrease our TAT and related variability
        • Improve visibility of the Build Plan to all stakeholders
        • Identify Risks and capacity needs and drive mitigation with team Minimum Requirements:
          • BSc in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years relevant industrial experience in a planning supply chain management capacity.
          • Experience in the Life Science or transferable industry
          • The candidate must demonstrate an ability to understand and appreciate the function and operational requirements of 10X products.
          • The candidate should have advanced planning training including an MBA or equivalent in operational and/or supply chain planning and management.
          • Demonstrated ability to manage both supply chain and factory planning to support a high growth, world class company.
          • A track record and ability to collaborate, implement and execute processes and systems with great speed.
          • A high level knowledge of global norms, risks, and trends and a demonstrated ability to address these in a comprehensive inventory, capacity, process capability, and disaster recovery plan.
          • Strong proactive collaborative and management capabilities and the ability to use these skills to achieve corporate objectives.
          • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, organization and communication skills. Preferred Skills & Experience:
            • Experience and knowledge of various process models - such as batch, intermediate WIP and kitting, continuous flow, higher volume configurable processes, lot matching, and make-to-order custom processes.
            • Exceptional ERP planning (preferably Oracle) and execution automation knowledge and experience.
            • Familiar with supporting S&OP process by building multi-dimensional plans for consideration.
            • Experience in managing multiple-site manufacturing organizations.

              Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.               $186,000 - $228,000 USD
