Salary Range:$225,000 - $250,000 Annually + $10,000 Sign-on BonusESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Provide direct primary care medical services to include examination, diagnosis, treatment, referral and follow-up of patients. --- Provide all services in accordance with accepted medical standards, organizational policies, contractual requirements, and in a manner that is responsive to the needs of all patients. --- Maintain a high level of awareness of evolving medical practices and work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the provider team to develop and implement new practices and protocols as appropriate. --- Participation in after-hours back up call for RN triage service. --- Participate in quality assurance and utilization review activities as assigned. --- Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: --- Expertise in primary care (to include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics and/or women's health). --- Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages highly desirable. --- EHR experience and/or expertise. --- Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds.QUALIFICATIONS: --- Current valid California medical license and DEA. --- Board certification in a primary care specialty.BENEFITS:--- $10,000 sign-on bonus for direct hire providers who work .8-1.0 FTE. --- Employer paid health, dental, and vision benefits to the employee --- Option to participate in a 403(B) retirement plan with employer matching contribution --- Participation in our Care-Based Incentive Plan --- 12 paid holidays --- Accrued paid time off with each pay period --- Employee discount programs --- Relocation bonus --- License and DEA renewal fee reimbursement --- Partial educational reimbursement --- Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement program --- Medical Malpractice Coverage --- Colleague Referral Bonus Program --- National Health Service Corps Student Loan Repayment Program Participant*. *As a Primary Care Provider with Axis Community Health you may qualify for up to $50,000 in loan repayment in exchange for a two-year service commitment. While performing the responsibilities of this position, the individual is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit various parts of the organization. Requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. Requires sitting and standing for extensive periods of time, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other equipment for extended periods of time. Travel to other Axis health centers and other local travel will be required.
