This role involves delivering exceptional perioperative care and supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is offered on a contract basis and includes a consistent schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Monitor patient status and maintain a sterile environment throughout operations. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively. Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with Operating Room experience. Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care standards. Ability to work efficiently in a team setting under pressure. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Experience with open heart procedures is preferred.
