Job Opportunity: Psychiatrist Child & Adolescent (Locums)
Location: San Francisco, California
Start Date: November 17, 2025 ongoing
Schedule: Day, night, and weekend coverage; 6 hours onsite rounding (starting 8:00 AM) followed by on-call until 8:00 AM next day; weekend call coverage 1 2 weekends/month
Setting: Acute Care Hospital Psychiatry/Behavioral Health

Assignment Overview

• Patient census: 6 12 patients/day
• Inpatient psychiatry with adolescent population focus
• Scheduled + call coverage required
• Observed facility holidays
• EMR: Cerner

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry OR
  BC in General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship Required
• Active CA medical license Required
• DEA & CSR Required
• ACLS & BLS Required
• COVID-19 vaccine + booster (medical/religious exemptions only) Required
• Experience in psychopharmacology, psychotherapies, adolescent development, family systems, and de-escalation techniques Required

Team & Support

• Multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Collaborative treatment planning with families and staff
• No APP supervision required
