About The Team Our Frameworks Team develops software that is responsible for performing regression tests, gathering metrics, and reporting results. Our product is a set of tools integrated to enable near realtime performance analysis of services and applications running on the Workday stack. All our services are deployed automatically as Docker containers working along side a Workday Deployment are used by Workday developers daily to assist them in their development and performance testing activities. We are strong proponents of open source and make use of widely adopted products along side our own internal tooling. We collaborate with many teams in Application Development, Tools Development, Pipeline Engineering, and Infrastructure. We continue to host Interns every summer sponsoring many interesting research projects. We are also active participants in the Generation Workday Program (our college hiring program) and our team is made up of many graduates from that program About The Role Your role would be as a Software Engineer contributing to the development and deployment of the front-end and back-end of our software stack. You---re hard-working, get stuff done, have phenomenal energy, and thrive in a startup-like environment You see software development as a team activity, collaborate well with others, and enjoy an agile environment where you---re always teaching and learning You have a growth mentality and are overflowing with curiosity about technologies About You 3 years of professional software development experience, designing and implementing scalable enterprise software, components, frameworks, web applications Experience in design and development with functional programming in Scala or object oriented language such as Java. Some experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks Hands on DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform is a plus Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture BS/MS in Computer Science or related field Other Qualifications: Experience in database systems Familiarity with modern developer tools & methodologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
