Technical Program Manager, Copilot AI, you will work at the nexus
of product and research. Your products are the language models that
power Microsoft Copilot. You will be responsible for bringing our
vision to life by supporting a fast-paced organization to track,
coordinate and manage flighting and launching of our latest model
and prompt iterations. You will complete these launches by
analyzing data, and making thoughtful recommendations to assist in
making ship decisions.We are looking for candidates who:

(MAI), focuses on Copilot and other consumer AI products and
research. We combine world-class AI research together with top
notch design and product craft. The wider team is responsible for
Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research, while the Mobile
Engineering team is responsible for leading and building the mobile
experience of Copilot on iOS and Android, collaborating closely
with our Product Management, Design and AI Research teams. This
role requires a balance of technical skills and effective people

Seattle area and in office 3 days a week.Responsibilities
- Orchestrate AI Launches: Manage, coordinate and execute
end-to-end release management of large-scale AI experiments and
launches, specifically focused on language models and prompts,
ensuring our Copilot experiences are delivered on time and with
high quality.
- Champion Product Quality: Define and refine evaluations and
best practices to detect issues early and maintain robust product
quality for users worldwide.
- Coordinate Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with
engineering, data science, and product stakeholders to align on
goals, track deliverables, and communicate status updates
effectively.
- Leverage Data & Insights: Collaborate with analytics teams to
define key success metrics, analyze pre-flight evaluations and
experimentation scorecards, correlate improvements to usage, and
influence roadmaps based on data-driven insights.
- Foster a Growth Mindset: Mentor team members, share best
practices, and cultivate a culture where everyone feels empowered
to innovate, learn, and grow.
- Embody our and .QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/technical
program management or software development OR equivalent
experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary projects,
defining requirements, developing project plans and working with
multi-disciplinary teams to execute them.
- Experience in coordinating ML-powered products.Preferred
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in managing experiments and launches of
language model and prompt experiments.
- Technical depth in software development, data science and
machine learning. While you are not expected to write code on the
critical path, you're able to execute on prototypes, reason over
large amounts of data, and speak the language of the engineers and
researchers you work with.Technical Program Management IC4 - The
typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD
$117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable
to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and
New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this
role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.Certain
roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Find
