Job Description We’re a high-agency, AI-native team of 12–14
people based entirely in San Francisco building what we believe
will become the “Claude for complex jobs.” If 2025 was about AI
coding, 2026 is about AI doing — bringing real, contextual AI
leverage to knowledge workers. We’re building a personal AI chief
of staff that works in the background, understands context, and
curates work for supervision rather than manual execution. We are
hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (backend-leaning) to join us in
person in SF. We’re building a personal AI assistant for knowledge
workers — something closer to “Cursor for knowledge work” than a
chatbot. The system: Understands user context Curates and
prioritizes work Operates in the background (e.g., during commutes)
Delivers supervision-ready output We’re well-positioned
post-fundraising to become a major player. This is a senior,
product-minded engineering role with end-to-end ownership. You
will: Own features from conception ? architecture ? implementation
? shipping ? iteration Handle backend-heavy work with some
infrastructure/DevOps responsibility Implement basic frontend
functionality when needed Work directly with users (engineers
onboard users themselves) Translate user feedback into experiments
and shipped improvements Operate in an ambiguity-tolerant,
fast-moving environment This is not a ticket-taking role. Feature
requests are assigned to individuals, and you own them fully. Tech
Stack TypeScript React Next.js Node.js PostgreSQL Cloudflare AWS
additional infrastructure providers AI model integrations (multiple
providers) You must: Understand AI applications and agentic
workflows Have experience with agent loops and model interaction
patterns Be able to ramp quickly on AI-heavy systems You do not
need deep ML engineering expertise — but you cannot be starting
from zero. In-person only (San Francisco office) Must be US-based
or willing to relocate Europeans may be considered (O-1
eligible)
