Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney – Defense Litigation (2 Years Experience)Practice Areas General Liability Toxic Tort Litigation About the Role We are seeking experienced Associate Attorneys with 2 years of defense litigation experience to join a growing litigation practice supporting complex civil matters across California. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated cases involving general liability, toxic tort, product liability, and related litigation within a collaborative, clientfocused environment. Attorneys in this role work closely with senior attorneys and clients while managing their own caseloads. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with the potential for fully remote work. Key Responsibilities Manage local and national accounts throughout California Independently handle a litigation caseload Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses Review and analyze discovery requests and materials Take and defend depositions Prepare fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial Support trial preparation and courtroom proceedings Maintain accurate and timely timekeeping records Qualifications Minimum 2 years of defense litigation experience Experience preferred in one or more of the following: General Liability or Product Liability Complex Litigation, Toxic Tort, or Environmental Liability Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active admission to practice in California Experience with motion practice and depositions Experience taking the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines Highly organized with the ability to multitask efficiently Why Join Us?
