The Content Management/Search/Information Architecture and
Multilingual Strategy Teams are responsible for overseeing and
participating in providing content management (including
multilingual content), search capabilities and information
architecture design for KP's Web presence. This work involves
evolving and implementing the business content and search
architecture, strategy, and product plan (including the selection
of content management and seach tools) to produce robust web
content management capabilities for use by employees in delivering
the content and applications on KP's web presence. The system
development and administration work involves implementing the
business content, language, and search architecture (including the
content management system, search engine, I/A, metadata, and
taxonomy model), defining authoring capabilities, approval
workflows, and publishing requirements and providing governance
over these domains.
Oversees and participates in providing content management
capabilities for KP's Web presence. This work involves evolving and
implementing the business content architecture, the content
management strategy and product plan (including the selection of
content management tools) to produce robust content management
capabilities for use by employees and vendors in delivering the
content and applications on KP's web presence.
As a business content/search/I/A/language strategy architect
practice leader, works with other team members and ISG product
owners, defines and maintains content/search capabilities
(includes: content taxonomies, information architecture,
multlingual product development, metadata schemas, template
libraries, tools for simplifying content contribution and content
workflows) to realize the content, search, multilingual, or
information architecture digital strategy.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to help define content
structures and identify how content from different channels is
related. Translate the requirements gathered from subject matter
experts and business partners into enterprise data models. Lead or
participate in the meetings to develop efficient XML-based
workflows, processes and tools. Construct, refine and maintain data
models, as needed, to meet business requirements.
Partner with business stakeholders to highlight how content can
be re-used or used differently; identify opportunities to improve
how businesses can share content and improve or streamline new
Develop and maintain a state-of-the-art content management
system. This requires partnering with KP IT to evaluate the current
content management infrastructure and operational practices, and
identifying and developing enhancements. The content management
system must be appropriate for a new technical framework for the
Web site, as well as emerging enterprise-wide solutions.
Maintain supervisory responsibility for team members and
contractors, including hiring, training and mentoring; overseeing
the allocation and coordination of team resources; negotiating
deliverables and deadlines; ensuring the work of the team aligns
with priorities; managing the team budget; developing workflow
processes and guidelines to ensure the delivery of high quality and
timely information; maintaining knowledge about and enforcing HIPAA
regulations and KP policies about privacy and confidentiality when
handling data; and staying informed about search industry best
Serve as a program-wide consultant and expert on content
management capabilities within KP's web presence, providing
guidance and support to internal and external customers, and
national and regional customers.
Collaborate with groups throughout the organization to form
partnerships and participate in joint initiatives concerning the
delivery of content management capabilities.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Minimum twelve (12) years of related previous work experience
Minimum eight (8) years of related content management/search and
content architecture experience.
Minimum eight (8) years of product management experience within
content management/systems (CMS, Search, Language).
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a product development
Minimum eight (8) years of key customer contact within content
management/search and system architecture.
Education Bachelor's degree in related field, OR four (4) years
of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
License, Certification, Registration N/A
Additional Requirements: Content management and content
Product management experience within Web systems for content
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum eight (8) years of health
care, health insurance, health plan administration, health care,
benefit administration, or benefit policy experience a plus.
Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
Knowledge/experience with Visisimo/Velocity a plus.
