What you will be doing

Our Benefits Administrators play a vital role in ensuring we provide a best-in-class benefits delivery experience to our 300,000 team members. Putting the associate first, work to resolve escalated benefit issues in a timely manner, partnering with internal and external partners. Support one or more benefits vendors to ensure issues are resolved proactively. Respond to internal and external requests. Support benefits delivery managers on various ongoing, quarterly and annual projects.

This role will be based out of Dallas, TX, Boise, ID, Phoenix, AZ, Fullerton, CA, Pleasanton, CA, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, Lanaham, MD, or Malvern, PA.

Main responsibilities
Supports the administration and compliance for all North American benefit programs including, medical/dental/vision plans, FSA, & HSA, etc.
Educate divisional HR associates by implementing a monthly Benefits operations call to communicate changes, updates, etc. Manages communication efforts and tools for associates to be well informed of their benefits. Also serves as secondary contact for associates related to benefit escalations.
Support Open Enrollment by participating in user acceptance testing, review of communication materials, and trainings.
Works closely with Payroll, HRIS and Associate Experience Center as it related to benefits and resolving associate benefit related issues and/or escalations.
Research and resolve escalated associate benefit issues, partnering with internal (e.g., payroll) and external stakeholders.
Lead ACA requalification process.
Respond to legal and vendor requests
Ensures compliance with governmental regulations related to benefit programs and labor law, including ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA. This includes required testing and audits and SOX compliance.
Ensure proper day to day administration of benefit changes and enrollments are processed by the benefits administration vendor.
Assist with other benefit projects/duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with an HR emphasis and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4 years of progressive related benefit experience.

Preferred Qualifications
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interpret contractual language, i.e. Plan Documents into easily understandable text.
Strong software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
