throughout the life of the property. Position Description: The
Proposal Lead is responsible for creating and supporting the
development of proposal responses including requests for quotation
(RFQ) and requests for proposal (RFP). As an integral member of the
Hensel Phelps Northern California Project Development team, the
Proposal Lead is primarily focused on leading teams through the
development of proposal responses including requests for
qualifications (RFQ) and requests for proposal (RFP). This key team
member also supports both internal and external marketing campaigns
and contributes to the overall creative efforts of the Project
Development group.Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or similar
field of study
- Five plus years of architecture, engineering, and construction
(AEC) industry marketing experience
- Excellent technical writing/editing skills and the ability to
distill technical narratives into creative, engaging content
- Adobe Creative Suite experience (specifically InDesign
familiarity)
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet critical
deadlines
- Desire to contribute as part of a winning team and actively
participate in a culture of appreciation and purpose
- Responsible for all assigned deliverables, ensuring quality,
timeliness, and clarity of messaging
- Lead proposal process with team for multiple contracting types
(design-build, CM at risk, etc) from pre-sale support through the
interview process
- Work with operations team members and subject matter experts to
create cohesive proposal content and other marketing materials
- Assist in updating project development systems/databases as
required (CRM, asset management system, etc.)
- Assist in various other marketing functions (not limited to
content marketing support, photo/video shoots, internal/external
communication projects and events, etc.)
- Coach and mentor marketing coordinators Hensel Phelps provides

receive either a vehicle or vehicle allowance in accordance with
Hensel Phelps' policies. -Based on position location, a cost of
living adjustment (COLA) may also be included (subject to periodic
