Job Description Must Have Skills:
10+ years of technical experience in Apple Mac and OS.
Subject matter expert on Apple products and devices with skills on
technical repairs.
Extensive technical knowledge and practical application experience
working with Mac OS.
Skilled technician in troubleshooting. The scope of duties for the
Apple Desktop Support Supplier includes but is not limited to the
following:
The Apple Desktop Support will perform Mac setup solutions and
provide support and mentorship in Apple MacOS within Client
network. We are seeking a supplier that can provide resources for
both Microsoft and Mac implementations on as needed basis.
DELIVERABLES OR TASKS:
1. Act as a subject matter expert in Apple, Mac setup, and MacOS
within our network.
Assess situations and provide solution utilizing knowledge and
experience in Apple products and technology.
Lead the design and build of Mac setup with minimal compliance
configuration.
Test applications in browsers and debug/troubleshoot within our
network or VPN.
Have time management skills to make decisions. 2. Provide technical
specialist support in Apple MacOS workstations efficiently
Provide hands-on technical problem solving with swift resolutions
to technical issues.
Identify and diagnose product issues.
Provide resolution with minimal/basic needs.
Customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical
issues.
Strong people skills and a knack for problem solving. 3. Maintain
and strengthen systems security.
Comply with corporate security policies and standards.
Comply with corporate security requirements.
Adhere to timely security patching. 4. Mentorship role to Network
Operations team members.
Provide skills training to team members.
Document designs, processes, and operating procedures. TECHNICAL
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
10+ years of technical experience in Apple Mac and OS.
Subject matter expert on Apple products and devices with skills on
technical repairs.
Extensive technical knowledge and practical application experience
working with Mac OS.
Skilled technician in troubleshooting.
Excellent knowledge of routing protocols and their application
Demonstrated excellence in technology transfer from research to
product.
Hosting and running websites on a large scale environment
Knowledge of Data Center operations
Understanding of networks and firewall systems
Experience with virtual technology.
Scripting experience and fluency in scripting language.
Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and tools.
Working knowledge of web services, web application development,
multi-tier application systems.
Knowledge of software configuration, source control, and build
engineering, scripting and system administration is required
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information
and identify and formulate solutions to problems.
Provide more in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals and
end deliverables.
Complete work within a reasonable time frame under the supervision
of a manager or team lead.
Plan and manage all aspects of the support function.
Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with data processing
systems, and methods of developing, testing and moving solutions to
implementation.
Strong knowledge in project management practices and ability to
document processes and procedures as needed.
Work collaboratively with other support team members and
independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum
supervision
Communicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry
technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writing.
Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with
team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables
Ask questions and share information gained with other support team
members, recording and documenting this knowledge
Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description
information, and record this information accurately
Listen carefully and act upon user requirements
Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an
understandable language to both technical and non-technical
persons
Present technical solutions to management and decision makers
Follow the lead of others on assigned projects as well as take the
lead when deemed appropriate
Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems,
weighing multiple solutions, and carefully selecting solutions
appropriate to the business needs, project scope, and available
resources
