year, we served over 2,000 local families and children seeking
child care referrals and served 975 child care providers. We are

regardless of ability to pay. While the pandemic threatened the
very existence of many child care businesses, we were ready to
answer this challenge by offering extra support to child care
providers and local families, from masks and gloves to additional

listening, and growing together. The Opportunity Reporting to the
Program Manager, the Provider Specialist will play a key role in
onboarding, training and maintaining relationships with (FFN -
Family, Friend & Neighbor) childcare providers. They will ensure
compliance with our standard operating procedures and ensure that
providers are given the tools and information needed to be a part
of the Hively programs. What youll be doing:
- Onboarding childcare providers and providing training on
systems and billing procedures
- Following up on late attendance sheets monthly and calling all
of the providers who have not submitted timesheets
- Entering and scanning provider rates, Licenses and required
forms for the AP in the CC3/CC4 system
- Assisting in the trustline application process for new
providers
- Collecting required forms and identification documents and
uploading them into the system
- Assisting Sr. Provider Specialist with School District entries
in the system annually and the administrative team in the data
entry
- Communicating with parents and providers regarding their
payment breakdown for the month
- Fielding payment questions and acting as the main point of
contact for provider payments
- Backup administrative team as needed
- Other tasks as assigned What you should bring:
- BA/BS with major coursework in social services/human
development or related field
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions
- Technically savvy with ability to learn new systems
quickly
- Ability to handle PII (personally identifiable
information)
- Experience using Microsoft Office software and Google
Suite
- Knowledge of all aspects of business office procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in
writing
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with
diverse groups of people
- Basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and
