YOU can make a difference! We are looking for a R&D Scientist
interested in a combined Product/Process Development role. You will
be part of a high performing team, driving your projects, which
will range from the creation of new and innovative products from
discovery programs to developing new/improved products through the
commercialization process for both growth and cost savings
initiatives.In this role, you will:Be part of a team responsible
for leading the execution of new product and formulation solutions
to market. You will develop new products from concept to
development, using technical leadership to translate end-user,
regulatory, category and market insights into product/formulation
solutions. You will work in teams to develop products in close
partnership with Packaging peers, as well as Marketing, Sales,
Product Supply and Global Stewardship (GS). -
To achieve your goals, you will:
- Serve as Product/Process Development Lead for projects,
ensuring technical rigor and deliver against project
deliverables
- Build a deep understanding of technical test methods, their
strengths, and limitations and how to use them for robust claim
substantiation
- Design and execute technical testing to converge on and
validate product/formulation design and performance, including
developing new test methods with support when necessary
- Work closely with current and potential suppliers to provide
innovative solutions to meet objectives presented in projects
- Deeply understand product chemistry and connect technologies to
claims, microefficacy and visualizations
- Design, validate and execute robust visualization of product
performance (e.g., demos) to amplify initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand the regulatory
space and implement the product regulatory strategy
- Understand the unique nature of product and channel needs in a
business-to-business (B2B) industryWhat we look for:
- Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or equivalent years of
industry experience
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a product/process
developer in the consumer goods industry
- Have a strong internal motivation
- Have technical curiosity, be a critical thinker and a problem
solver
- Be able to work independently and implement multiple projects
in a timely manner
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to
work in a collaborative team environment, both internal and
external to Clorox
- Identify, champion and adapt new technologies, tools, and
processes
- Familiarity with EPA's GLP process is a plusWorkplace type:This

your area. - Zone A: $84,500 - $158,000 - Zone B: $77,500 -
$144,800 - Zone C: $70,400 - $131,700 All ranges are subject to
