Who you are:ConXtech is seeking a detail-oriented multitasker
experienced in managing a multitude of accounts payable activities.
You are a team player and a self-starter who can get the job done.
You have:
- 2-5 years of accounts payable experience
- Experience in the construction industry; preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with
Sage Accounting Software and Concur
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of job costs
- Ability to work individually and in a group setting
- A willingness to step in and assist accounting department with
needs outside of AP from time-to-timeWhat you'll be doingAs an
Accounts Payable Coordinator at ConXtech, you'll:
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Verify invoices against the Purchase Orders
- Set invoices up for payment in a timely fashion
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Enter invoices into the accounting system with the correct cost
code, cost type, and general ledger
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Assist in check run preparation
- Work with Purchasing and Project Management team on invoice
approvals/discrepancies
- Acquire W-9 and ACH payment information for vendor set up
- Understanding of lien waiver rights and request waivers when
needed from vendors
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files and vendor account reconciliations on
monthly basis
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Assist with timely month end close process
- Maintain excellent communication with vendors
- Follow company internal controls, processes and procedures to
protect company assets
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management
- Audit support from external requests
- Exhibit a strong support of the company's mission
- Perform any other reasonable tasks consistent with your
professional abilities that may be requested by the CompanyWhere
