Roche Sequencing Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Market Research Analyst in its Pleasanton, CA location.Collect, analyze and interpret market and competitive data in the area of next-generation sequencing (genomic sequencing). Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to interpret data and generate insights about the health care diagnostic technologies market. Utilize advanced data analysis skills involving mathematical and statistical concepts as well as Excel, R, cluster analysis and data visualization. Apply principles of molecular biology/biotechnology to understand the role of the company's Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology in the marketplace, specifically its role in assessing disease state specific to oncology, genetics, infectious diseases and human health. Author reports containing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. Define and document market research objectives based on applications/technologies that are in development or have been brought to market. Execute primary and secondary market research (qualitative and quantitative) to monitor and analyze competitors' activities in various scientific applications across the biotech landscape. Create accurate market models and actionable insights for the business teams.10% domestic and international travel, fully reimbursed.
